The "Queen of Satpura," sets the stage for an extraordinary feat of human endurance and skill. As the highest point of the Satpura Forest Range, this majestic hill station is famous for its wilderness, lush greenery, and breathtaking sunsets. Known for its unique flora and fauna, the region provides a raw and natural backdrop for adventurers seeking to test their limits in the heart of Central India’s rugged landscapes.

 

The Festival Experience

The Pachmarhi Climbing Challenge is a thrilling 10-day action-packed competition, marking the first-ever natural wall climbing event in Central India. Brave mountaineers from across the country gather to scale a staggering 130ft high natural wall. Using a lottery system for slots, climbers aim to record the shortest climb time to climb the leaderboard. This extreme adventure concludes with a high-stakes finale where the top three finalists compete for a grand prize of INR 1,00,000, making it a landmark event for sports enthusiasts.

While witnessing the climb, you can visit the historic Pandav Caves, the spiritual Jata Shankar Cave, and the magnificent Dhoopgarh for panoramic views. Nature lovers can marvel at the cascading Bee Falls, Apsara Vihar, and the towering Silver Falls. With thrilling Jeep Safaris in the Satpura Tiger Reserve and the colonial charm of the Christ Church nearby, there are many more experiences to discover that highlight the adventurous spirit and natural bounty of this hill station.
