The chadi is established on the seventh day of Shravan Vad Satam. This stick is made of bamboo about 30 feet high. The Chhadidars who dance this stick are dressed in special uniforms, the Chhadidars swing the stick to the beat of Sharnai or Dhol. A cane is carried on one hand, on the shoulder or on the teeth. On the day of Vad Dasham, gifts of Bhoiwad and Kharwad sticks are made. The Bhoi people consider the stick as a symbol of the cow and the Kharwa people consider the stick as a symbol of the calf. Thus, both the sisters forget the past revenge and embrace in this way and give the message of happiness and peace to the people. The women who are not fertile keep the bard of Ghogharao and after the bard is over, place the cradle in the temple or cover it with a stick.
This journey starts from Big Bhoiwad and goes to Dandiya Bazar and rests at Dholi Bazar for the night. On the afternoon of Dasham, Chhadiatra comes back to Bhoiwad. These days, Soyla is sung by the Bhoi community covering the life of Dhodharao. The form of soyla is like chaupai. A large number of people gather to listen to this singing, the story of Ghogharao is also recited in the temple on the night of Gokul Ashtami.
