As soon as you step inside the sprawling 10-hectare compound surrounding the main temple, an incredible world of divinity comes into focus before your eyes. Around 20 small temples dot the landscape, each dedicated to a different deity: explore Durga's sanctum; pay respects to Kalabhairava; or discover two shrines dedicated to Lord Hanuman featuring him in various poses.
Lord Shiva's timeless abode
Adasa Sri Ganapathi Temple holds an immense reverence as it is dedicated to Lord Shiva himself, having long been considered part of local community life and cultural identity. Over time it has earned immense respect from local residents thanks to its antiquity and cultural significance for local residents - its walls and ceilings being decorated with intricate and colourful carvings and sculptures depicting stories from Hindu mythology as well as imparting profound spiritual teachings.
