The Regional Museum of Natural History in Bhopal houses an incredible collection of preserved specimens and skeletal structures, from crocodiles and king cobras to a rare white tigress skin. Whether it's the life-size models of animals like the red panda, kangaroo, and dolphins or fossils like a dinosaur egg and whale vertebrae, every exhibit tells a story about the wonders of life on earth, and the natural heritage of our planet.
What makes this museum even more exciting is its hands-on learning and environmental education. Through interactive galleries, activity rooms, and resource centres, you’ll learn so much more about the fascinating world of geology, zoology, and botany. If you want to understand the natural heritage of India and beyond, walk through the outdoor displays and admire exhibits like the hard-ground barasingha, or a baby elephant, or a red panda, or explore the Discovery Room, and you’ll find yourself connecting with nature in a whole new way.
