Best Time to Visit

The most pleasant time to visit Kappad Beach is between October and March, when the weather is dry and comfortable. Early mornings offer a peaceful atmosphere ideal for walks and photography, while evenings—especially at sunset—draw more visitors and offer dramatic coastal views.

How to Reach Kappad Beach

By Air: The nearest airport is Calicut International Airport (Karipur), located about 42 km away. Kannur International Airport, approximately 79 km from Kappad, is another convenient option with good domestic connectivity.

By Rail: Kozhikode Railway Station, a major rail hub in northern Kerala, lies around 20 km from the beach. From the station, taxis and local buses provide easy access to Kappad.

By Road: Kappad Beach is well connected by road and can be reached comfortably from Kozhikode city by taxi, private vehicle, or public transport. The drive along the coastal stretch is scenic and straightforward.
