Take a look in the past
The Nawabs of Babi dynasty ruled the erstwhile Junagadh State. Nawab Mahabat Khan II started the construction of the Mahabat Maqbara in 1878 and it was completed in 1892 during the reign of Nawab Bahadur Khan III. It houses grave of Mahabat Khan II. The adjacent mausoleum in north was constructed by Mahabat Khan II's Wazir (minister) Sheikh Bahauddin Hussain Bhar during 1891–1896. It is known as the Bahauddin Maqbara or Wazir's Maqbara.

Be amazed by the architectural brilliance
As you walk up into the complex, you’ll notice that there are two mausoleums. One is Mahabat Maqbara and the other is Bahauddin Maqbara. Both have designs including elements from various architectural styles, creating a harmonious yet eclectic appearance. The minarets on four sides of one of these mausoleums has winding staircases around them. These mausoleums have the carvings on its inner and outer façades and arches with yellowish light brown exterior. They have onion-shaped domes, French windows, sculptures, marble tracery work, marble columns, marble jalis ,floral patterns and intricate latticework, showcasing the craftsmanship of a bygone era. And let's not forget the massive silver door that welcomes you in, almost as if it's inviting you to uncover the stories within.
