Event Overview

Tamiya Sawan Mahotsav is a unique celebration of nature, culture, and rural tourism set amidst the scenic Satpura Hills of Madhya Pradesh. Organized with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and the district administration, the festival showcases the region's breathtaking landscapes, rich tribal heritage, vibrant traditions, and rural lifestyle. It offers visitors an immersive experience that beautifully blends natural beauty with authentic cultural expressions.

 

Experiences & Activities

The festival features a wide range of cultural, recreational, and adventure experiences for visitors. Guests can enjoy traditional Sawan swings, tribal art displays, handicraft and handloom exhibitions, authentic local cuisine, folk music and dance performances, and various cultural showcases. Nature photography contests, traditional rural games, trekking, and other outdoor activities add excitement to the event. The festival also serves as a vibrant platform for local artisans, craftsmen, and tribal communities to promote their skills and traditional products.
