Cultural Significance
The spiritual penance in the Chauragarh hills, Bhoora Bhagat had a divine vision of Lord Mahadev. He requested the boon to remain at the sacred site and guide devotees visiting the shrine. It is believed that his presence continues in the form of a stone idol, symbolically placed as a guardian at the entrance of Lord Bholenath’s abode.During the fair, devotees offer traditional items such as gulal, vermilion, camphor, kharak, supari, and large trishuls as part of their worship.
