A Beacon of Unity and Divine Blessings

The Ameen Peer Dargah Ursu in Kadapa is a profoundly significant annual celebration, a vibrant hub of devotion and communal harmony. This nearly four-century-old Sufi shrine attracts lakhs from all faiths, commemorating the spiritual legacy of saints like Peerulla Malik. It symbolizes a deep belief in their power to grant wishes and foster peace, uniting humanity in shared reverence.

 

During the Ursu, the Dargah buzzes with activity. Highlights include the majestic Julus (procession) with the 'Sandal' ceremony, heartfelt prayers, soul-stirring Qawwali sessions, and the Langar (free food). This embodies Sufi principles of sharing and equality, creating an atmosphere charged with spiritual energy and brotherhood.
