Shri Mahaveer Ji Fair, Karauli

Every year, thousands of devotees and travellers gather in Rajasthan to celebrate the revered Mahaveer Ji Fair, one of the state’s most significant Jain religious festivals. Held at the sacred pilgrimage town of Shri Mahaveerji in Karauli district, the fair is a vibrant expression of faith, spirituality and communal harmony. Scheduled to take place on 19 April 2027, the festival commemorates the teachings of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, and attracts pilgrims from across India who come together to seek blessings and participate in its time-honoured traditions.

Shri Mahaveerji is one of the most revered Jain pilgrimage centres in India.
