Rangpanchami in Indore is one of the most vibrant and unique celebrations of Madhya Pradesh, famous for its traditional “Ger” procession that dates back to the Holkar era. Celebrated five days after Holi, the festival transforms the historic streets of old Indore into a colourful carnival filled with music, dance, and cultural enthusiasm. Thousands of visitors from across India gather near the iconic Rajwada Palace to witness and participate in this grand celebration of colours, joy, and togetherness.

The festival is celebrated on a massive scale with colourful water showers, lively music, traditional processions, and energetic public participation. During the Ger procession, colour-mixed water is sprinkled across the streets, creating a festive atmosphere unlike any other.
