The Festival Experience
Lokrang is an extravagant five-day cultural festival that begins annually on Republic Day, 26th January, and concludes on 30th January. Organized by the Directorate of Culture and the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, this event emboldens rich tribal and folk traditions. Visitors can witness a grand dance-drama centered on Veerangana Rani Durgavati, coordinated instrumental presentations, and folk singing from various regions. The festival also features an international flair with dances from Paris, Germany, and Lebanon, alongside a traditional craft fair and a chance to savor authentic native cuisine.
