About Bhagoria Fair

Bhagoria Fair is one of the oldest and most vibrant tribal festivals of Madhya Pradesh, especially celebrated in the regions of Jhabua, Dhar, Alirajpur, and Khargone. The festival marks the joy of harvest season and reflects the rich traditions of the Bhil and Bhilala tribal communities. During Bhagoria, people celebrate with colors, music, dance, and traditional customs, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and happiness. The fair is not just a single celebration but a series of tribal gatherings organized in different villages on their respective market days.

Cultural Celebration & Traditions

Bhagoria Fair is a unique symbol of tribal folk culture where people dressed in colorful traditional attire participate in lively celebrations. Men and women dance together to the rhythmic beats of traditional musical instruments like dhol, mandala, flute, and thali. The fairgrounds come alive with folk songs, energetic tribal dances, and vibrant cultural performances.
