Spirit of Goa Festival – Colva, South Goa

The Spirit of Goa Festival is one of Goa's signature cultural and culinary celebrations, to celebrate the state's rich heritage of local food, traditional spirits, music, and craftsmanship. Held each year at the SAG Grounds in Colva, South Goa, the three-day festival is especially renowned for showcasing Goa's iconic heritage drinks, Cashew Feni, alongside innovative Feni infusions, premium craft spirits, coconut-based beverages, and authentic Goan cuisines. Visitors can explore various curated stalls, attend live cooking demonstrations, participate in mixology sessions and workshops, and engage directly with local distillers to learn about traditional fermentation and distillation practices.

The festival opens with live music by popular Goan bands across all three evenings, creating an energetic and culturally immersive atmosphere. Dedicated spaces for local artisans, self-help groups, and entrepreneurs showcase handicrafts, textiles, and homegrown products, ensuring meaningful community participation and economic opportunity. The Spirit of Goa Festival has firmly established itself as a marquee event in Goa's tourism calendar, celebrating and promoting the state's cultural, culinary, and artisanal heritage well beyond its iconic beaches.
