A Grand Celebration of Divine Prosperity & Conjugal Harmony

The Padmavathi Ammavari Utsavalu, primarily the Kartheeka Brahmotsavam, are the most significant annual celebrations at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur. Dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi, Lord Venkateswara's consort, this festival holds immense spiritual importance; a Tirumala pilgrimage is considered incomplete without her blessings. Its origins trace back centuries, commemorating the Goddess's divine presence and blessings, making her worship integral to Tirupati's spiritual journey. These nine-day festivities transform Tiruchanur into a vibrant spiritual abode, drawing lakhs of pilgrims seeking prosperity and harmony.

The Brahmotsavam unfolds with elaborate rituals. It commences with Dwajarohanam and features daily Vahana Sevas, including the dazzling Golden Chariot.
