A Grand Celebration of the Self-Manifested, Growing Lord

In the serene village of Kanipakam, Chittoor District, profound devotion fills the air during the annual Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Brahmotsavam. This grand festival celebrates Lord Vinayaka, whose unique self-manifested idol is believed to be continuously growing in size a captivating miracle that draws devotees from far & wide.

 

The Brahmotsavam is marked by a series of elaborate rituals and daily 'vahana sevas,' where the beautifully adorned processional deity is carried through temple streets on various divine mounts. Each procession is a magnificent spectacle, accompanied by devotional music, chanting, and a sea of devotees eager to offer prayers.
