A wildlife wonderland and cultural tribute
Birsa Zoological Park boasts a remarkable collection of 269 mammal species, including lions, tigers, elephants, and deer. With a rich avian population, it is also home to 885 bird species, treating visitors to a vibrant spectacle of winged beauty. Adding to its ecological diversity, the park features 36 reptile species. The park's name, Birsa Jaivik Udyan, pays tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, an eminent tribal freedom fighter.
