Explore the inside…
The Statue of Unity is divided into five zones, with only three accessible to the public. The first zone, from the base to Patel's shins, features three levels housing the exhibition area, mezzanine, roof, memorial garden, and museum. The museum showcases Patel's life and contributions, accompanied by a 15-minute audio-visual presentation.
The second zone extends up to Patel's thighs, while the third zone leads to the viewing gallery at a height of 153 meters. Concrete towers within the statue's legs house two elevators each, capable of carrying 26 people at a time. Ascending to the viewing gallery takes just over 30 seconds, with the gallery accommodating up to 200 visitors. From this vantage point, marvel at the sinuous path of the Narmada River, bordered by the imposing Sardar Sarovar Dam. In the distance, the majestic Vindhyachal and Satpura Hill ranges form a stunning backdrop. Below, the Valley of Flowers unfolds like a vibrant tapestry, completing the picturesque panorama.
The fourth zone serves as the maintenance area, while the final zone encompasses the head and shoulders of the statue.
