35th International Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race

The 35th edition of the Himalayan Run & Trek International Annual Event – Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race - will be held from 27 October to 03 November 2026 in the Singalila region of the Eastern Himalaya, India.

Organized annually since 1991, the Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race is recognized as Asia’s first annual mountain stage race and one of the oldest multi-day stage races in the world. The event is well renowned as the most scenic and challenging endurance race.

The principal stage race includes the 100 Mile and 100 KM distances, conducted over five days through the scenic Singalila region of Darjeeling district.

A defining feature of the event is the opportunity to experience spectacular views of four of the world's five highest mountains — Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu. Beyond endurance sport, the event offers participants an opportunity to discover the region's natural environment, flora and fauna, local culture, heritage, mountain communities and distinctive landscapes.

The unique mountain-running programme begins from Maneybhanjung. Over the following five days, participants undertake their respective race distances along the high mountain trails passing through tea gardens, forests, mountain ridges, villages and panoramic Himalayan landscapes.

The event brings together adventure, endurance sport, nature, culture and tourism, providing national & international participants with an opportunity to experience Darjeeling and the Himalaya through an extraordinary mountain-running journey.
